There are different account types depending on your coverage and how you are accessing GreenShield services. Read the following list to understand which applies to you:
-
Through an employer or organization: You are being provided insurance through a group plan purchased by your employer or the organization you work for.
-
Personal Insurance plan:You purchased your own personal insurance plan.
-
Through a family member: You are a dependent of a family member (for example, partner, spouse, child) who has access to health services like counselling, pharmacy or telemedicine.
-
I want to use health services but I'm not covered under a GreenShield plan: You want to use health services and pay for them yourself or reimburse them through another plan.
You might need two different accounts if you are covered by multiple plans, or your employer adds extra services to your plan, or you would like to purchase services yourself that are not included in your plan. For more information about managing multiple accounts, see the Manage Multiple Accounts topic.
