Create your account as a dependent

Before you begin: You should only choose Through a family member if you are a dependent (e.g. partner, spouse, child) of a person with a plan member ID or organization code.

1. Navigate to app.greenshieldplus.ca.

2. Select Sign up.

3. Select Through a family member, then select Continue.

4. Accept the Terms and Conditions, then select Continue.

5. Enter the email address that you want to use for your account, then select Continue.

6. Enter the verification code that you received at the email you provided, then select Continue.

7. On the ID Type page, select the option that applies to you:

   • I have an Organization Code. Then enter your Organization Code and select Continue.

   • I have a Member ID. Then enter your family member's Member ID and their Last Name. Select Continue. You can find the Plan Member ID on your family member's GreenShield+ card.

8. On the Personal Details page, enter your Name and your Date of Birth , then select Continue.

9. On the Contact Details page, enter your Address, then select Continue.

10. On the Password Creation page, enter the password you would like to use for your account, then select Continue.

11. Select Sign In.
